Hard to believe this photo was taken more than 53 years since I first drove this car on this race course.

Compare this photo with the ones shown in the first sections of the PV Story.   Lime Rock was originally a gravel pit and it's heritage was plain in the early years.   Today it is manicured and landscaped to rival any golf club.

This pic was taken during the Fall Vintage festival in September of 2017.   In the Saturday afternoon event the Fiat 850 and I had a race long dice.

Our PV is somewhat of a disadvantage in vintage racing as it has been restored just as ti was in

1969.   Many of the vintage cars we race against have taken full advantage of current technology to enhance their performance well beyond anything imaginable when the car was new.      Photo credit - Dotti Caldwell
