One of my favorite photo’s of my PV in action with the inside front wheel off the pavement
accelerating out of a turn.  This turn was great fun in that I could really fling the old car into it.   As can be seen in the background, this wasn't a purpose built race course.

Located right behind the pit area, this turn was a favorite spectator spot for crews.  It was actually an intersection with another road that entered from the left.   The road in the background lead to the civil defense barrack which the course wound through.   The road ahead of me led to the airport itself.   At the top of the hill the course went left past the hangars, then up a taxi strip alongside the main runway.
