Passing the timing & scoring stand entering the main S/F straight. Timing & scoring was done
at the last turn due to the difficulty in reading the numbers with the cars crossing the S/F line at
full speed.

 

The additional light on the nose was for identification from the pits at night but should have been mounted on the roof. In the background is the entrance road and ticket booths for the track.

 

A friend of mine from back home in Eastchester NY, whom I hadn’t seen for awhile was going
to college in Miami Fla. He had a few days with nothing to do so he decided to take his
girlfriend to see the race at Sebring. He was coming in on the entrance road in the background when he saw my PV rounding this turn.  He pointed and screamed at his girlfriend, "I know that car".
