| An Introduction to Odyssey House Written by Ron Polimeni, "the Dad" Welcome to the Odyssey House Online web site. The name Odyssey House is intended to reflect our philosophy that life is an adventure. The primary purpose of Odyssey House Online is to show our visitors around our motor sport/restoration shop and to illustrate our philosophy on having fun with mechanical things both large and small without going broke. We are a family operation, with all members contributing in one form or another. The idea for Odyssey House grew out of my life long love of motor sports, automobiles, model building and other associated hobby interests. My number one son Nick became infected early on with his dad's passion for motor sports and model building. Today Nick is the primary craftsman and manager of our automotive shop. Odyssey House services include complete auto restoration (excepting wood work and upholstery) on vehicles from the 1930's on up as well as competition preparation for club level racing, vintage racing, club level performance rally and rallycross/autocross/hill climb competition. While not directly related to the shop, several of the items listed on the menu are very much a part of our world here at Odyssey House. As time permits our webmaster (#2 son, Alex) will be updating the website with new text, images and video. We hope you enjoy your visit to Odyssey House Online. Please come back and visit us often! |
